A state House committee on Tuesday approved House Bill 2441, which was sponsored by 40 of the state's 90 legislators. It would require presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the requirements to be president.

Well played. I wonder who will determine whether the birth certificate is authentic? Since President Obama released his birth certificate before the election and the Arizona legislators still don't believe it is genuine, does that mean they can keep anybody off the ballot just by sticking their fingers in their ears and going "na na na na I can't hear you!"

Who is the idiot behind this blog who can't even post a link correctly?
Now, now no name calling. I am sure it is some good American that wants to get to the bottom of this unresolved question. What is the deal ? Was he born in Kenya, Hawaii, Thailand?? If u know and have proof cough it up.
You know.......complaining about immigration, as well as making it HARDER to become a citizen (did you know that you have to have roughly 18,000 in cash before becoming a citizen), it's readily apparent that all the old folks who have decided to retire in AZ are now wanting to shut out anyone who isn't a WASP.
That, combined with the Moral Majority, "C" street house, and the rampant declared stupidity that is spewing forth from the GOP is going to be what takes this country down, not immigrants or terrorists. As Pogo once said "we have met the enemy and they are US!"
This country was originally built on the similarities that we all shared when it was founded. Now, thanks to politics and various groups such as the Tea Party people, it is dividing everyone up into an "us or them" mentality, which was brought to us by George Bush Jr. in his "if you're not with us you're against us".
THAT is where the real danger is in this country.
